Officer Creamer recently received the DEP Division of Law Enforcement’s Lifesaving Award for his heroic actions in saving human lives on two separate occasions in 2010. On May 5, 2010, Officer Creamer was the first on scene at a traffic crash that occurred outside of the Wakulla Springs State Park. Officer Creamer provided emergency first aid to victims and extinguished a vehicle fire that had victims still trapped inside. On June 30, 2010, Officer Creamer’s quick thinking and ability to act saved a child’s life by quickly moving her away from a motor home that was ablaze. Within a few minutes after the child was moved, the motor home exploded and flames engulfed the area in which the child had been.
