SLECA is a not for profit corporation organized under the authority of Part I, Chapter 617, Florida Statutes, to inculcate, foster, and promote better understanding among state law enforcement organizations, to secure unity of action in all law enforcement matters relating to its members, to serve the state purpose of enhancing law enforcement for the citizens of the state, and to pursue any other purpose authorized by the applicable laws of the State of Florida.
